[Madison, WI] — Yesterday, it was reported on the Mark Belling Show that Democrat candidate for the Fifth Congressional District Tom Palzewicz was reported to the Milwaukee County Board of Ethics for a blatant violation of the law. Palzewicz asked Milwaukee County employees to vote for him while the county was paying him to give a seminar as a consultant. Following these shocking revelations, the Republican Party of Wisconsin released the following statement from Executive Director Mark Morgan, calling for an immediate investigation into the Palzewicz campaign:
“The Milwaukee County District Attorney and the Milwaukee County Board of Ethics must immediately investigate the Palzewicz campaign to determine if the law was broken, and Tom Palzewicz should explain to the voters of the Fifth Congressional District why he thinks it’s alright to campaign on the taxpayer’s dime. This is completely unacceptable, and Palzewicz must be held accountable for his actions.”
