[Madison, WI] — Senator Tammy Baldwin – one of the most liberal senators from a state President Trump won in 2016 – has announced that she won’t support the president’s nominee for the Supreme Court. Following Baldwin’s rushed decision, the Republican Party of Wisconsin released the following statement from Executive Director Mark Morgan:
“Baldwin’s reckless far-left record is once again on display – going so far as to oppose a highly qualified Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, for no reason beyond scoring points with her liberal Washington allies. Instead of standing up for Wisconsin families, Baldwin is siding with Chuck Schumer and D.C. Democrats to obstruct this nominee and once again pick Washington over Wisconsin.”
