[Madison, WI] — After eight years of failed leadership and pushing support for big government special interests, Barack Obama is back and endorsing Wisconsin Democrats running for office this fall. Time and again, big government special interests have shown they plan to dump resources into Wisconsin. Now they’re calling on their biggest proponent to help prop up the Democrats in Wisconsin.

“Big government special interests won’t rest until they have control again in Wisconsin – that’s why they’re sending their top ally, Barack Obama, to campaign here,” said Mark Morgan, Executive Director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Thanks to Scott Walker, Rebecca Kleefisch, Brad Schimel, and Leah Vukmir, Wisconsin’s comeback is real. Obama and the big government special interests will stop at nothing to turn back the clock with the failed policies of yesterday.”

WI Dems Get Support from Obama

  • Nobody has looked to gain more from big government special interests this cycle than Tony Evers. From unions to billionaires like Tom Steyer, Obama is joining a long list of special interests propping up Evers’ campaign this fall.
  • Obama’s endorsement follows Mandela Barnes, candidate for Lt. Governor, insulting Wisconsin swing voters and telling those who support Trump that he doesn’t want their support.
  • Baldwin’s endorsement from Obama follows her sitting on an official government report that implicated the Obama Department of Veterans Affairs in the overprescription of opioids at the Tomah VA Hospital.
Note: Notably missing from yesterday’s endorsement list is Hillary Clinton’s attorney Josh Kaul.
