[Madison, WI] —Tammy Baldwin has no shame when it comes to fundraising with her liberal allies in Washington. Last week Baldwin was caught advertising a fundraiser hosted by the attorneys of Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, in an attempt to cash in with liberal elites in Washington. Baldwin has actively opposed Kavanaugh’s nomination from the very beginning, stating that she would oppose his confirmation within 48 hours of the announcement.

Check out news coverage of Tammy Baldwin’s fundraiser below:

From CBS News: CBS News has obtained an invitation to a fundraiser for incumbent Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wisconsin in Washington, D.C. on Monday, October 1, hosted by Brett Kavanaugh accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s attorneys, Debra Katz and Lisa Banks, along with liberal political action committee “End Citizens United.” Ford’s lawyers’ remarks and statements on her behalf have largely been in line with those of Democrats on the Judiciary Committee.

From Fox News: “In the most despicable manner, Senator Baldwin, who opposed Judge Kavanaugh within 48 hours of his nomination and refused to meet with him, will be holding a political fundraiser with the lawyers of Dr. Ford who is now accusing him of sexual assault,” Vukmir said. “Baldwin and her Democrat colleagues will take advantage and fundraise off any situation — even the most egregious.”

From the Journal Sentinel: U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin was supposed to get some fundraising help from two lawyers who represent the woman who has accused U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.

From the Washington Examiner: In a strident display of Washington politics, the lawyers for the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault when they were high schoolers were to host a fundraiser for embattled Democratic Wisconsin Sen. Tammy Baldwin, according to an email to donors.

From the Washington Free Beacon: The invite asked donors to join Debra Katz, the attorney for Ford, Lisa Banks, and End Citizens United for a cocktails and conversation event with Baldwin on Monday Oct. 1 in Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C. The invite includes four levels of participation ranging from $100 (supporter) to $1,000 (host).

From AP: Debra Katz and Lisa Banks along with End Citizens United were listed as planning to be at the fundraiser. Katz and Banks represent Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who brought the accusations against Kavanaugh.
