Wausau, Wis. – Americans for Prosperity Action today announced its endorsement of State Senator Tom Tiffany in his bid for election to Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District. Explained in a memo published this morning, AFP Action is throwing support behind Sen. Tiffany for the principled leadership on important policies he’ll bring to Washington if elected to Congress.
AFP Action Senior Advisor Eric Bott issued the following statement:
“Since taking office, State Senator Tom Tiffany has fought to break down the barriers that keep people from realizing their true potential. Too often, elected officials let Madison change them. Tiffany flipped the script. He helped change Madison by letting taxpayers keep more of their money and making sure the state spends the money they have more wisely, reforming the state’s labor laws to help everyone find meaningful work, protecting civil liberties, and increasing educational opportunities for all children. Wisconsin would be well served by electing Sen. Tiffany and sending him to Washington to change it, just like he changed Madison.”
