Darling won’t be at Thursday JFC hearing following fall in Washington, D.C.

Sen. Alberta Darling, R-River Hills, won’t be at Thursday’s Joint Finance hearing on doctor’s orders following a fall last week during a fundraising trip to Washington, D.C.
A Darling spokesman said the lawmaker was following a doctor’s recommendation that she not attend committee hearings yet.
Vice-chair Luther Olsen, R-Ripon, will co-chair the hearing, according to the hearing notice that went out this afternoon.
Darling, who turned 75 last month, had her return from Washington delayed after she fell at the airport. The Darling spokesman declined further comment....
