The Tony for Wisconsin campaign today announced that it had raised slightly more than $2 million during the final reporting period of the 2018 election, which began on October 23 and ended December 31, and will report more than $345K on hand.
Tony for Wisconsin’s finance director, Sean Elliott, said, “Governor Evers’ message of putting people before politics clearly resonated in every part of Wisconsin. We’re proud to have built a robust campaign that continues to demonstrate the power of grassroots donors and is prepared to help Governor Evers move Wisconsin forward.”
The full campaign-finance report is due January 15th and will be available publicly through the Wisconsin Ethics Commission.
