Evers proposed $2 billion in new borrowing as part of capital budget

Gov. Tony Evers today proposed nearly $2 billion in new bonding as part of his capital budget with a significant chunk of that borrowing going to the UW System.
Overall, Evers is proposing a $2.5 billion capital budget, which includes $429.7 million in gifts and other money to fund projects.
