Evers wants until March 5 to deliver budget address

Gov. Tony Evers is asking lawmakers to give him until March 5 to deliver his budget address, noting his predecessor also had until the first Tuesday in March to unveil his plan.
It would be the latest the budget has been introduced since at least 1979, according to the Legislative Fiscal Bureau.
