Jacque says he’s received assurances on DA positions, prosecutor pay to secure his budget vote

GOP state Sen. Andre Jacque said he’s received assurances from legislative leaders a coming budget amendment will add more assistant DA positions and an additional pay raise for prosecutors as part of his ask to secure his vote for the document.
Jacque, R-De Pere, told WisPolitics.com this afternoon that he hadn’t seen final language yet. Still, the coming changes were key in securing his vote for the budget, which goes before the full Assembly tomorrow and the Senate on Wednesday.
