The Grove Apartments Groundbreaking – 112 Unit Affordable Housing

What: Groundbreaking for a $25M, 112-unit affordable housing development at former location of Pinney Library. The City provided $3M in affordable housing funds that made this project feasible, the largest single award by the City of Madison for an affordable housing project. The County also contributed $591,000 from its affordable housing fund. The project is also being financed with over $12M in tax credit equity allocated through WHEDA. 95 of the 112 units will be designated for individuals and families earning 60% of less of the county median income. The project will include project amenities like a penthouse community room including an outdoor patio with lake views.
