MILWAUKEE, WI – The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is reminding motorists of street closures due to the Milwaukee Marathon.
North Vel R. Phillips Avenue from West Juneau Avenue to West McKinley Avenue; and, West Juneau Avenue from North 6th Street to North Old World Third Street will be closed Friday at 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
There will also be closures from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday on streets along the Marathon route. The closures will last for several hours.
North-south traffic on cross streets will be limited during the race as well.
The MCSO recommends drivers to use I-43.
