The liberal Greater Wisconsin Committee is out with its second TV ad in as many days knocking Supreme Court candidate Brian Hagedorn, this time accusing him of failing to protect seniors.
The group said the new ad will run on broadcast and cable TV.
The ad says Hagedorn lobbied for a law “shielding bad nursing homes accused of neglect, even of wrongful death.”
The ad references a state law pushed through in 2011 when Hagedorn was chief legal counsel to then-Gov. Scott Walker. It made a series of changes to laws governing liability lawsuits and included a provision preventing reviews or evaluations of health care services being used in a civil or criminal action against a provider.
“Tell Judge Brian Hagedorn we should protect Wisconsin seniors, not corporate special interests,” the spot concludes.
