In her closing ad of the race, Supreme Court candidate Lisa Neubauer says the state needs a court “that is there for the people.”

The campaign said the ad is running in the Madison, Green Bay, Milwaukee, La Crosse/Eau Claire, and Wausau markets and the buy is in “six figures.”

It is Neubauer’s second TV ad of her race with fellow Appeals Court Judge Brian Hagedorn, though she has received significant help on the air waves from the liberal Greater Wisconsin Committee and its independent expenditure arm. So far, no outside groups have announced a TV ad backing Hagedorn.

The new spot touts Neubauer’s endorsements from more than 340 judges, district attorneys and sheriffs. She also notes her experience on “hundreds of cases,” including those involving victims of domestic and sexual abuse and the opioid crisis.

“I am fighting for a fair, impartial and independent court in our state,” Neubauer says to close the ad before a narrator urges a vote for her April 2.
