Madison, WI – Today, NextGen Wisconsin will co-host a Get out the Vote canvass with Planned Parenthood to engage and mobilize young voters ahead of the Supreme Court race on April 2nd. NextGen will knock on young Wisconsinites’ doors to remind them that issues they care deeply about such as voting rights, reproductive healthcare access, and LGBTQ+ rights are at stake on Tuesday. With only five days until the election, NextGen Wisconsin will ensure that voters have the resources and information they need to cast their ballot.

In 2018, NextGen Wisconsin collected over 50,800 pledges to vote from young people and knocked on 178,000+ doors. Young Wisconsinites voted overwhelmingly to defeat Scott Walker, elect Tony Evers, and defend Senator Tammy Baldwin’s seat. This year, NextGen Wisconsin remains committed to organizing young people on college campuses and in communities around elections, fighting to expand access to the ballot box, and advocating for progressive change.
