Madison – Today, Rep. Amy Loudenbeck (R-Clinton) released the following statement after Governor Evers’ State of the State Address.

“We heard a lot of ideas from Governor Evers this evening, and we heard about his desire to work together on broad consensus public policies that are passed in the spirit of bipartisanship. I’m proud of my track record working across the aisle, and I plan to continue that under Governor Evers,” said Loudenbeck.

“I hope that Governor Evers embraces today’s bipartisan vote in support of Assembly Bill 1, which includes protections for individuals with pre-existing health conditions as well as a prohibition on annual and lifetime coverage limits. The Governor has an opportunity to prove that Democrats and Republicans can work together, and should let the people of Wisconsin know he intends to sign the bill as soon as possible after it passes the state Senate.”
