MADISON, WI – Today, Representative Greta Neubauer (D-Racine) released the following statement regarding the lawsuit against Republican lame-duck voting restrictions in Wisconsin:
“Once again, Wisconsin voters have won in court. When legislative Republicans proposed severe restrictions on early voting, thousands of people flooded the Capitol and contacted their legislators. Together, we made it clear that Wisconsin would not stand for unconstitutional restrictions on early voting rights.
“Today, the federal courts drew a clear line in the sand: Republican attacks on voting rights and free, fair elections in Wisconsin will not stand.”
