Madison, WI – The Wisconsin State Senate and Wisconsin State Assembly both passed on a bill yesterday to rename the interchange of I-41, USH-10, and STH-441 as the “Michael G. Ellis Memorial Interchange,” in honor of the late legislator. Ellis served in the legislature for over forty years.

“Michael Ellis was a tireless champion of the Fox Cities and he was a constant voice for improvements in our region of the state,” said Rep. Mike Rohrkaste (R-Neenah). “His impact on Neenah and on the Fox Cities is lasting, and I believe this is a fitting tribute to Ellis and his contributions to Wisconsin.”

Senate Bill 1, which makes the change, is now headed to the Governor’s desk for a signature.
