Madison, WI… Today State Representative Travis Tranel (R-Cuba City) released the following statement regarding the passing of former State Representative Ed Brooks of Reedsburg.
“I would like to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to Ed’s family and friends at this very difficult time. Ed will be greatly missed by all that loved him and those who worked with him, but he will never be forgotten. We will always remember the many good things that he advocated for and helped to champion at the local and state level, which helped make our great state a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
It was truly an honor and privilege to have served with Ed in the Wisconsin State Assembly for eight years. He was a great friend, fellow farmer, true statesman, and strong advocate for the citizens of rural Wisconsin. I will greatly miss him.”
