Madison- State Rep. Tyler Vorpagel (R-Plymouth) was sworn in to the Wisconsin State Assembly to represent the 27th Assembly District for the 2019-20 legislative session.  This will be his third term in the Wisconsin State Assembly.  He released the following statement:

“It is humbling to be elected to a third term to serve the 27th Assembly District.  Over the past four years I have worked hard to ensure that our community has a loud, strong voice serving it in state government.

“One of my primary goals this session is to continue focusing on job creation and making sure we have people qualified to fill open positions.  In Sheboygan County, we have plenty of good-paying jobs, but we need to make sure that we have workers qualified fill them.

“This session I will continue to build on relationships across the aisle and finding solutions to problems facing our state.  This has been a priority in my last two sessions, and I’ve worked closely with many of my Democratic colleagues.  Now more than ever I believe these relationships will be important to keep the voices of the 27th Assembly District heard.”

Rep. Vorpagel is serving as the chairman of the Federalism and Interstate Relations Committee and will serve on the Committees on International Affairs and Commerce, Children and Families, State Affairs, and Transportation.

Joining Rep. Vorpagel at the inaugural ceremony was his wife, Jenny, and his 2-year-old son, Landon.
