Hudson…Earlier this week the Hudson City Council approved a 202,000 square foot science and manufacturing facility to be built by Phillips-Medisize at St. Croix Meadows. This is Phase 2 of the project. Phase 1 is a 221,000 square foot facility currently under construction.

“This is a huge win for Western Wisconsin” said Rep. Zimmerman. “Our strong Wisconsin economy, the result of tax policies which help businesses and families, has attracted yet another company to the economically vibrant St. Croix Valley. A heartfelt thanks to Mayor Rich O’Connor and everyone who assisted on making this a reality, we will see dividends from this for years.”

On February 15, 2019 a ceremony was held as Phillips-Medisize broke ground on their new state of the art manufacturing facility. The facility will likely support 250 high-paying jobs for Western Wisconsin, and will be located where the Hudson dog track was torn down.

Phillips-Medisize is a global manufacturing company started in Phillips, Wisconsin. They currently employ more than 5,500 people at 26 manufacturing sites around the world.
