WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican State Leadership Committee’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (RSLC – JFI) added additional advertising to its statewide, seven figure rotation today in the form of a second television spot.
“The radical left’s special interests, led by Barack Obama and Eric Holder, are trying to hijack Wisconsin’s Supreme Court to usurp the authority of Wisconsin’s state legislature, and we are here to stop them,” said Matt Walter, President of the Republican State Leadership Committee. “In states like Pennsylvania, liberals actively campaigned to win seats on a partisan state Supreme Court which, in turn, undermined the state legislature’s legally drawn Congressional maps. They are spending millions to elect Liberal Lisa Neubauer, and the left’s agenda that is soft on crime, allows for unchecked illegal immigration, and socialism must be stopped on April 2 by electing Judge Brian Hagedorn,” Walter added.
Court watchers agree that a loss for conservatives on April 2nd, coupled with Wisconsin’s next Supreme Court election set for the same day as the Democrat Presidential Primary, could enable judicial activist liberals to use Wisconsin’s Supreme Court to undermine the authority of the state legislature on a variety of issues.
RSLC’s JFI second thirty-second television spot can be seen here.

The right choice for Supreme Court
The RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI), launched in 2014, works to elect down-ballot, state-level conservatives to the judiciary. Through JFI, the RSLC became the only national political organization focused exclusively on the electoral process of judicial branches at the state level. Too often voters are starved of information about judicial candidates up for election and forced to vote completely in the dark. To address this critically important need, JFI provides the public with a balanced flow of relevant information to make educated decisions and support common sense conservative judges at the state level.
About the RSLC
The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) is the largest caucus of Republican state leaders in the country and the only national organization whose mission is to elect Republicans to multiple down-ballot, state-level offices. Since 2002, the RSLC has been working to elect candidates to the offices of lieutenant governor, secretary of state, state legislator, the judiciary and other down-ticket races. State-level Republicans maintain 61 of 99 legislative chamber majorities across the country, hold 25 lieutenant governor seats, and control 28 secretaries of state offices.
