[Madison, WI] — Today, the Department of Revenue announced $75 million in additional revenue collections for Wisconsin. Republican reforms over the course of the last decade have left our state in a strong fiscal position moving forward. Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald released the following statement in response to today’s news:
“Today’s announcement proves that Wisconsin’s economy is strong and that state government is well-prepared for the future. Republicans in the Legislature have spent the last decade leading the way on reforms that have helped bring about Wisconsin’s comeback, and as a result, our state is one of the best places in the country to start a business, raise a family, or retire. We are committed to keeping our state headed in the right direction.”
