Madison, WI — Senator Chris Kapenga and the Wisconsin State Senate are now accepting applications for the 2020 Senate Scholar Program, where high school juniors and seniors from around the state participate in a week-long, intensive program at the State Capitol. The Senate Scholar Program is an elite program designed to challenge Wisconsin’s best students with an advanced government curriculum that includes classroom instruction, roundtable discussion sections and a lab component.
“The Senate Scholar Program has proven to be an extremely rewarding experience for everyone who participates. Students will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the legislative process, with an opportunity to even draft their own legislation. I’m excited to meet some of the brightest students our state has to offer,” said Senator Kapenga.
