(MADISON) –State Rep. Gary Hebl (D-Sun Prairie) announced today that he has been selected to serve on five committees for the 2019-2020 legislative session. He will serve on the Assembly Committees on Judiciary, Education, as well as the Assembly Committees on the Environment and Constitution & Ethics, for which he will be the Ranking Member. He will also serve as the Ranking Member on the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules (JCRAR).

“It’s going to be a busy session,” Hebl said. “It’s an honor to have been selected to serve on some of the most prominent committees that we have. I am going to work hard to ensure that I represent the will of the people of the 46th Assembly District.”

Rep. Hebl served on the Judiciary, Environment, Education, and JCRAR in the previous two year session. He is new to the Committee on Constitution & Ethics.

“I am excited to be on each of these committees, covering subjects that I am passionate about,” Hebl continued. “I am looking forward to being a new member on Constitution & Ethics, and I am grateful to continue to serve on Judiciary, Environment, and JCRAR. I am grateful to Assembly Democratic Leader Gordon Hintz for assigning me to these committees, and I look forward to working with my colleagues on impactful legislation.”
