MADISON – I am ecstatic about the Democratic National Committee selecting Milwaukee to host the 2020 convention. Hosting the convention in Milwaukee provides an economic boost for not only the city but the state as a whole. Hosting a convention of this magnitude will allow us to show the rest of the country what we already know; Milwaukee is a first class city and we are ready to shine on prime time. I feel honored to witness the first major-party convention in Milwaukee’s history. I applaud the hard work and dedication of the DNC 2020 team.
