Ohnstad to Serve Again As Ranking Democrat on the Assembly Jobs and the Economy Committee
MADISON – Today, Representative Tod Ohnstad (D-Kenosha) issued the following statement on his committee appointments:
“I am honored to serve as the ranking Democrat on the Jobs and the Economy Committee again for the 2019-20 legislative session. Working with Gov. Tony Evers to create family-supporting jobs is my top priority. I will use my continuing assignments to the Assembly Committees on Labor and Integrated Employment, State Affairs, Ways and Means, and Workforce Development to advocate for economic justice for all Wisconsinites. Too many Wisconsin workers have seen their wages stagnate under a system that impairs their right to collectively bargain for a better life.
I will also fight for tax reforms which benefit the middle class, not just wealthy corporations and individuals. Republicans and Democrats must work together this session to achieve these goals.”
