MADISON – Assembly Republicans hand-delivered a letter today to Governor Evers,
highlighting priorities of the caucus and urging him to work with Republicans on advancing
shared priorities. Representative Mike Rohrkaste (R-Neenah) released the following statement:
“The people of the 55th District sent me back to Madison to continue our track record of smart investments, fiscal responsibility, and good governance. Wherever we can, it is important to find common ground with Governor Evers. One of the most pressing issues for Wisconsin is the need to attract talented workers. Along with urging the Governor to work with the Legislature in addressing this, we also ask that he work with the Legislature to protect those with pre-existing health conditions, find a sustainable solution to our transportation fund, and continue to reduce taxes for hard working Wisconsin families.”
