Mock-up of Trump campaign banner to fly in five locations on Labor Day 2019
President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign is taking to the skies this Labor Day to thank American workers for their contributions to the strong and growing economy. The Trump campaign will employ aerial advertising in five locations around the nation to reach beachgoers at peak times of the day on Monday, September 2, 2019. The locations include Detroit, MI; Cleveland, OH; Milwaukee, WI; Erie, PA; and Virginia Beach, VA. Additional sites in Florida – Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach – were canceled because of the approach of Hurricane Dorian.
“Labor Day is the perfect time to thank American workers for everything they do for our country,” said Tim Murtaugh, Trump campaign communications director. “Under President Trump’s policies, the economy is strong and growing, and more Americans are working than ever before. The American economy is the envy of the world and our American workers are the best on the planet.”
At each location, small airplanes will pull banners reading: “TRUMP-PENCE THANKS OUR GREAT AMERICAN WORKERS!” and “TEXT ‘JOBS’ TO 88022.”
The schedule of the beach plane flyovers is as follows:
Detroit, MI 11:00AM-2:00PM EDT
Cleveland, OH 11:00AM-2:00PM EDT
Milwaukee, WI 11:00AM-2:00PM CDT
Erie, PA 2:30PM-5:30PM EDT
Virginia Beach, VA 2:30PM-5:30PM EDT
