Washington DC – Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy, co-chair of the Great Lakes Task Force, released a statement following the EPA’s announcement that the agency would commit $13.8 million towards a cleanup of Howards Bay in Superior:
“I applaud the EPA for announcing that $13.8 million of Great Lakes Restoration Initiative money will go towards the cleanup of Howards Bay in Superior, Wisconsin. As co-chair of the Great Lakes Task Force, I have fought hard to make sure that GLRI money goes to important projects like Howards Bay. This cleanup is critical to ensure that Lake Superior waters are cleaner and safer for future generations.”
