WASHINGTON, D.C. – Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy, Ranking Member of the Financial Services Subcommittee on Housing & Insurance, today released the following statement on the Department of Interior’s announcement that it will soon propose a rule to delist the gray wolf in the lower 48 states:

“It is encouraging that the Trump Administration is following in the footsteps of the Obama Administration in its efforts to allow Wisconsin to manage its gray wolf population. We know what’s better for our state’s ecosystem better than activist judges in Washington, and Wisconsin farmers deserve to be able to protect their livestock.”
