Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Ron Kind is reminding Wisconsin seniors that the deadline to choose or make changes to Medicare drug and health plan coverage is quickly approaching. The Medicare open enrollment window will close on December 7th. Wisconsinites can still make changes to their health care plans in the next few days by visiting Medicare.gov.

“I want to make sure folks are aware of the upcoming deadline and the resources that are available to compare Medicare coverage options during this open enrollment period,” said Rep. Ron Kind. “Medicare provides guaranteed, affordable health care for 40 million of our nation’s seniors, including 110,000 seniors here in western and central Wisconsin. I encourage Wisconsin’s seniors to take advantage of open enrollment during these last few days and look at options to ensure their plan best fits their needs.”
