JANESVILLE, Wis. – Today, Congressman Bryan Steil’s campaign announced it raised over $360,000 in the first quarter of 2019 showing broad based support from workers across Southeast Wisconsin.

Steil’s support is a snapshot of Wisconsin’s First Congressional District. The $364,928 raised in the first quarter of the year includes contributions from trade associations, organized labor and employee-friendly Wisconsin businesses.

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, a labor union representing skilled construction workers, backed Steil. Additionally, pro-business associations such as Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Businesses also supported Steil in the first quarter of 2019. And, support came from businesses with strong Southeast Wisconsin roots such as Case New Holland and Northwestern Mutual.

Bryan Steil: “I am humbled to have the support of workers across Southeast Wisconsin. Our team is energized as we continue to build our momentum and work to address the challenges facing Wisconsin and America. I am focused on standing up for Wisconsin workers.”

The first quarter of 2019 ran from January 1 to March 31, 2019. As part of his pledge to fully disclose campaign contributions, Congressman Steil provides a link to his complete Federal Elections Campaign report at: www.steilforwisconsin.com
