Walker plans to stay in Wisconsin, give speeches on conservative causes

Gov. Scott Walker will remain in Wisconsin after leaving office next week and plans to give speeches on conservative causes such as reforming the tax code.

In an email to supporters yesterday, Walker wrote he also will “help plenty of good candidates and causes here in the state in 2019 and 2020.” That includes the re-election bids of President Trump and Vice President Pence.

“We will see where God leads us in the future,” Walker wrote.

Walker will be part of a speakers bureau and encouraged backers “to consider requesting me for meetings, conferences, and other events across the nation.” His focus will include returning power to the states from the federal government.

“That is the best way to Drain the Swamp on a permanent basis,” Walker wrote.
