Walker raised $9 million more in 2018 than Evers

Scott Walker raised $9 million more in 2018 than victorious Dem Tony Evers, according to their latest campaign finance filings.

Evers raised nearly $10.6 million last year, finishing 2018 with $345,485 in the bank. He also spent $10.3 million in 2018.

Adding in the last half of 2017, as Evers weighed a bid and then launched his campaign, the former state superintendent raised almost $10.9 million for his bid and spent almost $10.6 million.

Walker, meanwhile, raised $19.8 million in 2018 and spent $23.9 million as he lost his re-election bid.

Going back to the beginning of his term, Walker raised and spent more than $35 million over the four-year period.

He ended December with $62,531 in the bank.
