(WAUKESHA, WI) – The Waukesha County Park System is pleased to announce that The Waukesha Rotary Club has made a three-year commitment to support a new project at Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha.
“I am thrilled with this fantastic collaboration with the Waukesha Rotarians,” said Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow. “Contributions, like these, from local civic organizations and businesses allow us to enhance Waukesha County’s amenities for residents and visitors alike.”
The Waukesha Rotary Club’s Charitable Fund has committed to a $45,000 donation over the next three years to assist in developing new outdoor educational components that will be accessible for all ages and abilities at Retzer Nature Center. Proceeds from Waukesha Rotary Club’s annual fundraisers are directed to the Charitable Fund to provide grants to local organizations.
“As a Waukesha based organization, we target our charitable funding to enhance the services and community facilities making the Waukesha area a better place to live and do business,” said Paul Hoefle, Waukesha Rotary Club President.
