Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development: Lead abatement and safety – Clean Communities Week

Secretary-designee Caleb Frostman, Senator Lena Taylor and Representative LaKeshia Myers Will Meet with Wisconsin Pipe Trades to Discuss Lead Safety Issues.

Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Secretary-designee Caleb Frostman, Senator Lena Taylor (Senate District 4) and Representative LaKeshia Myers (Assembly District 12) will visit Plumbers Union Local 75, 11175 W. Parkland Ave. in Milwaukee on Wednesday, April 24 at 1:00 p.m. Government officials will connect with Wisconsin Pipe Trades to highlight and discuss safety issues surrounding lead pipes and the abatement process.

Members of the media are invited to attend. Secretary-designee Frostman, Sen. Lena Taylor and Rep. LaKeshia Myers will be made available to the media after the press conference scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

A member of Plumbers Union Local 75 will also be available to take media inquiries regarding lead abatement.
