The Wisconsin Civics Games state finals competition, which was postponed last month due to severe winter weather across the state, has been rescheduled for Friday, March 29, at the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison. The state finals will feature the top teams from each of our five regional competitions. Each team will compete in two matches during the preliminary rounds, with the four highest-scoring teams advancing to the semifinals.

Each member of the state championship winning team will receive a $2,000 scholarship from the WNA Foundation.

Our panel of judges for the state finals competition includes three members of the Wisconsin State Assembly: Rep. John Macco, R-De Pere; Rep. Travis Tranel, R-Cuba City; and Rep. Lisa Subeck, D-Madison. Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Patience Roggensack also will address participants prior to the first round. For those unable to attend, the state finals will be broadcast live on WisconsinEye.
