MADISON — The Wisconsin Paper Council (WPC) applauded State Representatives Scott Krug and Katrina Shankland as well as Senators Tom Tiffany and Janet Bewley for creating the new Wisconsin Paper Caucus. The Wisconsin Paper Caucus is an informal body made up of Legislators from both houses, a representative from Governor Evers Administration as well as various thought leaders from throughout the state.
The overarching goal of this caucus is to work together in a bipartisan fashion to develop common sense policy solutions which will help sustain and promote the papermaking manufacturing sectors throughout our great state. WPC began advocating for the creation of such a group last year and is excited to begin working together with individuals from both Legislative houses from both parties on this groundbreaking collaborative endeavor.
