Madison, WI – Judge Brian Hagedorn released his first television ad today in his campaign for Wisconsin Supreme Court. The ad, titled “Lily,” focuses on Hagedorn’s personal connection to the opioid crisis and this commitment to hold the people responsible for the damage accountable. Judge Hagedorn’s family has unfortunately witnessed firsthand just how damaging the opioid crisis can be after adopting their daughter Lily, who was born addicted to opiates and struggled through withdrawals as a newborn.
“Adopting Lily has brought home the opioid crisis and how it affects families in such significant ways,” Hagedorn said in the ad. “We need to show compassion, but we also need to hold people accountable, and that’s exactly what I’ll do on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.”
