Evers calls for all voters to be mailed absentee ballots

After repeatedly urging voters to request absentee ballots for the April 7 election to avoid going to the polls amid the coronavirus pandemic, Gov. Tony Evers today called on the Legislature to change state law so all registered voters could be mailed one. MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers today directed Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Secretary-designee Andrea Palm to temporarily order the suspension of evictions and foreclosures amid the COVID-19 public health emergency.
