Pence to visit Pewaukee Tuesday as part of ‘Faith in America’ tour

Vice President Mike Pence will be in Pewaukee on Tuesday to kick off what the president’s campaign is calling his “Faith in America” tour. The event at the Ingleside Hotel will be Pence’s fourth stop in Wisconsin this year. He joined President Trump for a Milwaukee campaign rally in January. LCV Victory Fund targets Trump’s environmental record

The LCV Victory Fund today announced new digital ads and direct mail targeting President Trump’s environmental record and what the group says is its similarities to his coronavirus response. The group said it was part of an ongoing $14 million targeting “environmental swing voters” in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The group is partnering with the Dem super PAC Priorities USA on the digital programs in Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The groups didn’t detail the size of the buy in Wisconsin. DPI to provide guidance Monday on reopening schools

The Department of Public Instruction expects schools to reopen in the fall and will provide guidance next week on best practices. In a message to district administrators on June 12, the department said it “expects changes to school operations to address risk factors to control the spread of COVID-19, the educational needs of students who are not able to return to school due to health concerns, and changing conditions due to the pandemic.” A bill the Legislature passed this spring requires the agency to release the guidance by June 30.
