Dem Tom Palzewicz, a former businessman running in the 5th CD, has made his first cable ad buy of the election, emphasizing his leadership qualities.

Palzewicz’s campaign manager said the campaign’s spending on cable was about $10,000, while the streaming purchase was about $5,400. Advertising Analytics reported the spend at $11,494.

The ads will run in the Milwaukee media market ahead of Palzewicz’s face-off with Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, R-Juneau, to replace retiring current Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, R-Menomonee Falls.

The cable TV ad, titled “A Leader Who Will Listen,” features voters talking up Palzewicz’s compassion, empathy, and communication skills. An ad set to run on streaming services, “Progress Over Partisanship,” touts Palzewicz’s service in the Navy.

“I know what servant leadership means,” Palzewicz says in the ad.

According to pre-primary campaign finance reports, Palzewicz’s campaign currently has $60,223 on hand. Fitzgerald has $439,186.
