On Friday, September 18, Biden for President Wisconsin will host a “National Black Voter Day” event with Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, Common Council President Chevy Johnson, and County Board Chairwoman Marcelia Nicholson. At the event, Wisconsin leaders will discuss voting rights and encourage Wisconsinites to make a plan to vote, as Wisconsin ballots are mailed out this week.
Wisconsin leaders will also highlight the racial equity plank of Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan and the Lift Every Voice Plan for Black America.
