On Thursday, August 6, Ashley Biden, the daughter of Jill and Joe Biden, will host a Wisconsin Women for Biden organizing event. Biden will discuss Vice President Biden’s newly released Women’s Agenda and what’s at stake for women in Wisconsin this November.

Launched in May by Senator Tammy Baldwin and other key leaders in the Badger State, Wisconsin Women for Biden is a statewide network of hundreds of women working to elect Joe Biden.

Ashley Biden is a social worker and criminal justice reform advocate. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director for the Delaware Center for Justice, the leading criminal justice reform organization in the state. During her seven years at DCJ, the organization helped to advance gun violence intervention programming, legislation to support formerly incarcerated people, and administered rehabilitative programming inside and outside of state prisons. Prior to DCJ, Ashley served as a liaison for the Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families, working in juvenile detention centers, mental health facilities, and developing innovative workforce development programs.
