On Friday, July 17, Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes will host a virtual Biden for President organizing event to engage grassroots volunteers from across Wisconsin. The event will help kick off a nationwide “weekend of action,” where volunteers around the Badger State and country will reach out to voters to discuss why Biden is the clear choice in this election. State Representative Greta Neubauer and climate activists Angelito Tenorio and Darrin Madison Jr. will also speak at the event.
Barnes announced his endorsement of Vice President Biden on Wednesday.
The event will focus on Biden’s new plans for a resilient and sustainable infrastructure now and an equitable clean energy future. Last week, Biden released his “Build Back Better” plan to grow the manufacturing industry and economy.
