Today, as Vice President Mike Pence visits Wisconsin, Biden for President Wisconsin State Director Danielle Melfi released the following statement:
“Today in Wisconsin, small businesses are struggling to keep their doors open, too many workers are still unemployed, and farmers are barely making ends meet. Parents are anxious about the school year, and the Trump Administration has failed to give schools the resources they need to reopen safely. Meanwhile, Trump has handed out massive tax breaks to billionaires and given corporations incentives to offshore good-paying American jobs. He’s put the wealthy and well-connected first and Wisconsin workers and families last.
“Wisconsin is ready for a leader who knows we need to reward hard working Americans. That’s why Joe Biden has put forward an agenda that will invest in Wisconsin manufacturing, strengthen Buy American provisions, and fight for organized labor.
