SOUTH MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley today announced his endorsement of Erik Brooks in his bid for the Wisconsin State Assembly, District 21.

Crowley stated, “Erik will be a strong representative for the South Shore. He has proven himself to be a unifying force among Milwaukee County leaders and will be the same in Madison. He has spent his time in public service advocating for a higher quality of life for all county residents, and will listen to and work with everyone to build bridges to help solve the problems we all face.

“Erik will stand up for Oak Creek, South Milwaukee, and Franklin. As a former member of the Assembly, I look forward to working with him and the entire legislature to help better invest in parks, transit, and all of the services the county provides, even during tough budget times.”

Brooks stated, “Our campaign has been about coming together in order to fix a broken Madison. For too long we’ve seen inaction and partisan division in the Capitol. I’m honored to have the support and endorsement of County Executive David Crowley, who ran a campaign for county executive himself on the message of coming together and working for everyone.

“The success of Milwaukee County is South Milwaukee’s success, and I will never forget that when I am in the Assembly.”
