[NEENAH, WI…] Rachael Cabral Guevara announced her campaign filed the
maximum number of nomination signatures permitted to gain ballot access for the 55th
Assembly District.

The small businesswoman, Nurse Practitioner, and senior lecturer said the level of
support she received while circulating nomination papers was both inspirational and
heartwarming.

“I’m humbled and excited about the outpouring of support my campaign has received as
we collected a maximum number of signatures. As a small businesswoman and
medical professional, I’m the only candidate for the 55th Assembly District who’s started
a business and served on the frontlines of providing critical heath care during this
crisis,” said Cabral Guevara. “Starting and growing a business isn’t a theory for me, I’ve
actually done it. We can open our state for business responsibly, and take the
necessary steps to stay safe and healthy. Voters are responding to my real world
experience, and we’re building a strong campaign for success.”

Cabral Guevara is endorsed by the Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA) political
action arm WINPAC.

Republican candidate Rachael Cabral Guevara is the owner of Nurse Practitioner
Health Services, LLC (NPHS), which provides direct access healthcare to families with
high deductibles or no insurance. NPHS provides house calls, nursing services, labs,
X-ray, and a full services clinic in Appleton. She earned a Masters in Science Nursing
from UW-Milwaukee and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from UW-Oshkosh. In
addition, Cabral Guevara has served as a senior lecturer at UW-Oshkosh for more than
a decade. Her role at UW-Oshkosh includes instructing more than 96 students in both
classroom and clinical on clinical nursing each semester.
