[NEENAH, WI…] The Assembly campaign of Rachael Cabral Guevara today announced the endorsement of current Wisconsin State Representative Shae Sortwell in the Republican primary race for Assembly District 55.
Rep. Sortwell (R-Two Rivers) endorsed Cabral Guevara, a small business owner, Nurse Practitioner and nursing instructor at UW-Oshkosh.
“I’m convinced that Rachael will be unwavering in her commitment to the rights and liberty of the people of Wisconsin,” said Rep. Sortwell.
Cabral Guevara said she was thankful for the endorsement from the US Army veteran and conservative Republican.
“As a small business owner and medical professional, I’m uniquely qualified to help Wisconsin get back on its feet economically while balancing health care concerns of citizens and main street businesses. I’m committed to being a strong steward of the taxpayers’ money and creating new jobs in the Fox Valley,” said Cabral Guevara. “I’m thankful and excited about Rep. Sortwell’s endorsement, and I intend to continue working hard to gain the support of hard working families in the District.
Guevara is also endorsed by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, Wisconsin Right to Life, state representatives and the Republican Party of Calumet County.
Rachael Cabral Guevara is the owner of Nurse Practitioner Health Services, LLC (NPHS), which provides direct access healthcare to families with high deductibles or no insurance. NPHS provides house calls, nursing services, labs, X-ray, and a full services clinic in Appleton and Green Bay. She earned a Masters in Science Nursing from UW-Milwaukee and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from UW-Oshkosh. In addition, Cabral Guevara has served as a senior lecturer at UW-Oshkosh for more than a decade. Her role at UW-Oshkosh includes instructing more than 80 students in both classroom and labs on clinical nursing.
Cabral Guevara lives in Neenah and is mother of four. She is a Neenah Rotary member, volunteer at Alliance Elementary School, and has provided lectures for the National Alliance for Mentally Ill.
